Hoboken

The City of Hoboken announced the Sinatra Drive final design plans, which will upgrade the waterfront from 4th to 11th streets. The project will utilize green infrastruture with 164 trees and a two way, twelve foot bike way, while incorporationg Vision Zero safety enhancements for pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers. Jersey City

The Exchange Place Plaza Renovation is underway in Jersey City. The $5.5M plan overhauls the Plaza’s pedestrian zone and includes revamped lighting, modern benches, fresh landscaping and a car-free zone. Click here for full article.

Jersey City apartments are bucking a national trend and increasing in size. Over the past 10 years, studies show the average US apartment shrank by 54 square feet. Jersey City apartments, in contrast, grew by 23 square feet. Does this account for the rise in rental prices? Not entirely. The high rental prices are due to high demand, so come prepared to sign if you like a property!
